Price CSFloat listings against the rest of the market

CSFloat is built around float values, and float is exactly where flat price comparisons fall apart — a 0.0002 Factory New and a 0.069 Factory New are not the same item at the same price. The CSPriceAPI extension adds comparison prices to CSFloat listings and auctions, including float-ranged pricing so you compare against skins in the same wear bracket.

CSFloat is included in the free plan — no account required.

What the overlay actually does

Works on listings, search and auctions

Whether you browse search results, a single listing or an ongoing auction, the same comparison data is injected where you are looking.

Float-ranged pricing

Instead of one price for the whole exterior, Pro shows what items in the same float bracket actually sell for — the number that matters when you hunt low floats.

Reads the phase from the listing

Doppler and Gamma Doppler items are matched by phase, so Ruby, Sapphire, Black Pearl and Emerald get their own reference price.

No account needed to start

CSFloat is covered by the free plan. Install, open the market and the badges appear on cached prices without signing in.

Item pages

The full picture before you buy

Open any CSFloat listing and the panel lists every covered market with its current price and listing count, so the asking price sits next to what the rest of the market is doing. Price history, recent sales and buy orders are part of Pro.

FAQ

CSFloat questions

Is CSFloat supported on the free plan?

+

Yes, CSFloat is one of the five free marketplaces. Price badges, basic ROI and currency conversion work without an account; float-ranged pricing, buy orders and price history are Pro features.

Does it compare by float value?

+

On Pro, yes. Float-ranged pricing shows what comparable items within the same float bracket sell for, rather than a single price for the entire exterior. On the free plan you get the standard comparison price for the item.

Does the overlay work during auctions?

+

Yes. Auction pages get the same comparison panel as fixed-price listings, which is where knowing the fair value before placing a bid pays off most.

Can I see buy orders from other markets?

+

Pro shows YouPin and BUFF163 buy orders next to the CSFloat asking price — the price you could realistically sell at, not just the lowest ask someone is hoping for.
